Art Murals Project Complete
Leslie’s Paintings in the Vectra Bank Corporate Center

Leslie completed four large-scale paintings for the new Vectra Bank Corporate Headquarters building in Denver, CO. The paintings are on the walls surrounding the corporate conference rooms and represent the four seasons in colorado as seen through the lens of her mountain adventures.
Winter is a painting of a skier at Silverton Mountain and is a nod to the artist’s own ski adventures. Spring is a kayaker on the Arkansas River, near the artist’s home in Salida, CO. Summer is a painting of a backpacker at Upper Cataract Lake near the Eagle’s Nest Wilderness (photo inspiration by Noah Wetzel.) Fall is a mountain biker in Steamboat Springs (photo inspiration by Noah Wetzel and modeled by the artist’s friend Trevor Greco.) In the background are topo map patterns with a red dotted trail line – all designed by the artist to visually lead you through the paintings as you walk along the corridors. Inside the conference rooms, the topo maps continue and include elevation markers of the places depicted in the adventure paintings.
The project was part of a massive art installation project by art consultants Liz Graham and Jennifer Perlow for the new Vectra Bank Corporate Headquarters building at I-25 and Belleview Station in the Denver Tech Center.
Take a brief video tour of the paintings – reproduced larger than life at the new Vectra Bank building.
Well done…
Salida should be proud to call you their own!
Thanks, Brett!
We are so stinking PROUD of you, Leslie! And like we always say…”Go BIG or go home!” You nailed it!
Mwah!
Awwwww shucks.
These murals really rock ; I would love to see them in person. The strength and intensity of design really grabs you and the shapes keep it moving. So exciting, and SO graphic. Nice.
Coni, thanks so much! I’ll keep you in the loop. I love your work too.
